After a great showing in New York, the Art of Moonalice Poster Exhibit, featuring works by Darrin Brenner and a slew of other great artists will be at Slim’s in San Francisco this Friday, 4/20/2012.  Featuring over 460 orig­i­nal gig posters with art­work from over 20 artists.

The poster show will be followed by Moonalice’s annual 4/20 Tribal Pow Wow – featuring three sets of Moonalice music!

Tickets are only $4.20 and there will be many posters for all.   Darrin Brenner even made one especially for the event, and will be on hand to sign them for you too.

Moon­al­ice is a band that com­mis­sions a poster for every gig and gives them away for free.
Since the band’s for­ma­tion in 2007, Moon­al­ice has pro­duced a unique series of over 460 orig­i­nal gig posters with art­work from over 20 artists.

Posters in the Moonalice series fea­ture art­work from many of the leg­endary poster artists of the psy­che­delic 60′s as well as today’s top rock poster artists. Moon­al­ice is a band that lets poster artists do what they do best – make art! Unen­cum­bered by stan­dard con­straints, Moon­al­ice posters are as diverse as the artists who cre­ate them.

On Fri­day April 20, 2012, Moon­al­ice proudly presents it’s 420 Tribal Pow-Wow at Slim’s.
A night full of Moonalice music and a special Moonalice poster art exhibit.
Doors open at 6:00pm!
Moonalice’s 3 Set con­cert starts at 7:20pm, admission is $4.20 at the door.
