After a great showing in New York, the Art of Moonalice Poster Exhibit, featuring works by Darrin Brenner and a slew of other great artists will be at Slim’s in San Francisco this Friday, 4/20/2012. Featuring over 460 original gig posters with artwork from over 20 artists.
The poster show will be followed by Moonalice’s annual 4/20 Tribal Pow Wow – featuring three sets of Moonalice music!
Tickets are only $4.20 and there will be many posters for all. Darrin Brenner even made one especially for the event, and will be on hand to sign them for you too.

Moonalice is a band that commissions a poster for every gig and gives them away for free.
Since the band’s formation in 2007, Moonalice has produced a unique series of over 460 original gig posters with artwork from over 20 artists.Posters in the Moonalice series feature artwork from many of the legendary poster artists of the psychedelic 60′s as well as today’s top rock poster artists. Moonalice is a band that lets poster artists do what they do best – make art! Unencumbered by standard constraints, Moonalice posters are as diverse as the artists who create them.
On Friday April 20, 2012, Moonalice proudly presents it’s 420 Tribal Pow-Wow at Slim’s.
A night full of Moonalice music and a special Moonalice poster art exhibit.
Doors open at 6:00pm!
